The Imperial WH1942PS1 is made for the serious cook. Its heavy duty construction brings the classic feel of America’s traditional diner to your kitchen. It’s attractive and extremely durable #304 stainless steel finish just can’t be ignored. Best of all, the Imperial WH1942PS1 is made right here, in the USA. The WH1942PS1 brings both looks and muscle to the table, and more importantly, to your kitchen.

The WH19xxPS1 series range hood comes equipped with twin “balanced” centrifugal blowers that produce a whopping 1270 CFM—an amount of air displacement almost unheard of in the WH1942PS1’s price range. With the airflow boost option engaged, the WH1942PS1 can achieve a seemingly impossible 1400 CFM. When operating at 1270 CFM (Full power sans Airflow boost) the hood produces a noise level of only 4.6 Sones. Blower motors of much lesser power can generate up to 13 Sones of sound, illustrating the contrast of how effectively quiet and powerful the WH1942PS1 actually is. It comes with two aluminum mesh filters. The filters are easily accessible, which makes cleaning them a relatively painless process. Aluminum mesh is also dishwasher safe, meaning that you don’t have to use powerful degreasing chemicals to eliminate grime build up when cleaning the hood.

The WH19xxPS1 range hood series boasts a powerful array of lights with multiple options. Available in the smaller sizes, namely the 36”, 42” and 48” models, are two 50 w halogen lights. On the larger models (54” and 62”) four 50 w halogen lights are available. The control panel on the WH1942PS1 allows you to dim its light output, making it easy to set the mood in your cooking and eating area. The turn-knob style control panel can be easily can be found just under the hood, giving you complete control over blower speeds and, once again, lighting options.

As if the Imperial WH1942PS1 wasn’t powerful enough already, there are upgrades available for purchase that can increase its CFM output beyond 1400 CFM. A vertical discharge duct with two 7” round duct openings can be purchased separately, along with two 8” transitions.
